A… NATE OF ALL TRADES
Hi!
I’m Nate, a designer/illustrator/photographer currently living in Jacksonville, FL.
I started out in the design industry after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in 2005. I started my first company, The Hauteness, and worked with clients in Orlando, FL and eventually New York City after moving there in 2007.
Along the way, by happenstance and a sense of adventure I ended up operating and navigating the world’s largest oil rigs and drill ships for 13 years – an experience that allowed me to see the world and learn incredible new skills and perspectives (Amazingly, operating oil rigs as well as creating art/video all involve A LOT of technology, software and skill sets that overlap in ways you would never imagine!).
I started Little Haters Big Dreams as a catch-all for all of the creative projects I’ve always wanted to work on, and when I am not fixing pixels, you can find me fixing my 1913 craftsman home to do my part in keeping the history of the Riverside district in Jacksonville.
